Handmade quilt utilizing vintage and found fabrics.
On the front is a checkered pattern of a wide array of fabrics from flowers, checkers, polka dots, and some solid fabrics. In no particular repeat, some of the squares are split in half to form two triangles of different fabrics. One of the most exciting aspects of this work is the scalloped edge along the entire perimeter. On the back, in stark contrast, is one solid fabric of small black and white checkers. The border top stitching utilizes glow in the dark thread adding an extra layer to this multifaceted work.
