This Kurdish kilim was woven in Western Iran during the middle of 20th century. 

It is composed of a stepped-diamond pattern in light and dark browns, ivory, red, yellow and soft pink. The pattern has moments of distortion which add interest. The border is composed of in alternating diamonds in the same tones and create a zigzag.

In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Flatwoven, with a sturdy handle. Excellent rug for high traffic areas.
