This silk Kayseri was handwoven during the middle of the 20th century in Central Turkey. The Mihrab, or prayer niche, features a velvety orange sherbet field with two ivory columns and a hanging lantern. The gorgeous pastel color palette is rounded out by pink, aqua, chartreuse and siren red. In great condition other than a sensitive foundation. Due to the fragility of this piece, we recommend not to display on the ground, but to hang it as an accent piece.
