This Tabriz was woven in northwest Iran during the middle of 20th century.
The design is composed of multiple interconnected palmettes. The ivory ground and brightly colored flowers in blues, yellows and flashy pinks make this rug stand out. The main border is composed of a meandering vine motif, on a stunning deep blue ground. The two minor borders are both composed of a dainty floral motif that subtly completes off this elegant rug design.
